Ahh! June in the Antelope Valley...
It's heating up in the AV, so come out to the golf course. We've got cold beer, cold towels, and a very cool golf course, with lots of shade trees. You can also cool your heels in the Picnic Pavilion. We'll be getting the misters out as the summer progresses.
Father's Day
Father's Day is a great day at Rancho Sierra. The BBQ will be running, and dads, sons and daughters will be having a great time. Come on out and join the fun. We also have 20% off all golf attire and merchandise from Saturday, June 9th through Father's Day.
Annual Glowball Tournament
The 4th Annual Rancho Sierra Glowball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday evening, July 28. This is always a very popular event (the prize raffle is incredible), so be sure not to miss it.
Course Improvements
We continue to improve the course and clubhouse. The clubhouse decking is being treated and painted, for appearance and safety. Please excuse our dust!
The driving range hitting area continues to grow, and is almost ready. We plan to reopen it later this month.
News Flash! Sand bunkers have not been a part of Rancho Sierra for almost 20 years!! They are coming back! Steve and crew hope to start cutting and layering, and filling bunkers with sand later this month. This will be awesome!
We also now are using a backhoe to dig out the canals and lakes. This will be an ongoing process for the summer and should really help improve the appearance of the course.
Mens and Ladies Clubs
The Mens Club starts at 7:00 AM on Sundays, and 8:00 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Come out and join them! Our Ladies Club meets on Wednesdays at 8:30 AM. New members are always welcome! Psst. Rumor has it you may even be able to win money or prizes at these events.
Tournaments
Schedule your spring and summer tournaments now! Our calendar continues to fill up! Our tournament rates are the lowest in the Antelope Valley and perhaps in all of Southern California, starting at about $15 per golfer. We have a wide variety of packages, including those for 9 or 18 holes, weekday or weekend, and with or without lunch or dinner. We can help you with your charity or organization. Special Events
Plan your special event at Rancho Sierra Golf Course. We rent out the clubhouse and also host weddings and birthday parties. Contact Shirley or John at (661) 946-1080 for details.
Gift Certificates Available
Gift Certificates are available online and at the club. Gift Certificates may be purchased for any amount and are redeemable for golf, merchandise, lessons & food. Simply stop in the golf shop to purchase your gift certificate or shop on line.
